Meet The Practitioners
Nancy Edwards, BC-HHP, CFNC, FMCP
Board Certified Holistic Health Practitioner | Certified Functional Nutrition Counselor | Functional Medicine Certified Practitioner
Nancy Edwards has over 27 years of experience working privately in holistic health. In 2023, she expanded her work publicly through Green Medix, where she focuses on helping clients identify and correct the root causes of illness rather than simply managing symptoms.
Using a personalized approach that integrates functional nutrition, lifestyle strategies, and holistic wellness practices, Nancy works with individuals seeking to restore balance, strengthen the body’s natural healing processes, and build a sustainable foundation for long-term health.
Her philosophy is simple: when the body is given what it needs—and the obstacles to healing are removed—it has an incredible capacity to repair, restore, and thrive.

David Geiger, MD
Collaborating Physician
Dr. David Geiger serves as the Collaborating Physician for Green Medix, providing medical insight that helps bridge the gap between traditional medicine and holistic wellness approaches. His role is to offer perspective from the conventional medical field when cases require an understanding of how conditions may be viewed and managed within the traditional healthcare system.
Because integrative care often involves multiple disciplines, Dr. Geiger assists the Green Medix team in navigating the differences between conventional medical protocols and holistic health strategies. This collaboration helps ensure that wellness plans are developed with an awareness of how traditional medical providers may evaluate or approach a particular condition.
By providing clinical perspective, Dr. Geiger helps the Green Medix team of holistic practitioners make informed decisions that can be more easily understood and coordinated with patients’ primary care physicians and medical specialists.
His involvement reflects Green Medix’s commitment to true integrative care—where holistic and conventional perspectives are understood and respected in order to better support coordinated patient care.
Leigh Johnson
Therapist
Leigh Johnson serves as the Therapist for Green Medix, providing emotional and mental support for patients who may benefit from additional guidance during their wellness journey. Recognizing that health challenges often affect more than just the physical body, Leigh helps individuals address the emotional and mental aspects that can accompany lifestyle changes and healing processes.
When patients feel the need to speak with someone or require additional support, Leigh provides a compassionate and supportive space where they can openly discuss their concerns, challenges, and experiences. Her role is to help patients navigate the emotional side of health and wellness while offering encouragement and practical coping strategies.
By supporting the mental and emotional well-being of patients, Leigh plays an important role in the Green Medix approach to whole-person care, helping individuals feel supported as they work toward improved health and balance.
